The points for the teams participating in the Continental or World Qualification Tournaments for World Championships or Olympic Games will be attributed at the same time as the points attributed to the teams taking part in the final round of these competitions. When a team qualifies for the Olympic Games or World Championships, no points will be attributed to the team for the Qualification Tournaments.
