Het programma op vrijdag 23 september ziet er als volgt uit:

  • 11.30 uur: ontvangst met lunch
  • 12.30 uur: openingsprogramma met o.a. opening met Bas Bloem (Neuroloog, Radboudumc)
  • Bart Kiemeney (Epidemioloog, Radboudumc): ‘Lifestyle improvement: the forgotten cancer drug’
  • Interview met 2 topsporters en sportarts Rob Vesters over terugkomen na blessure: ‘Return to play’
  • Erik van Wensen (Neuroloog, Gelre Ziekenhuizen): ‘Yips and other Task-Specific Dystonia’s in Athletes’
  • Hans Zwerver (sportarts) over Springen, gezondheid en de Jumpers Knee: ‘Jumping 2 conclusions or not’
  • 14.15 uur: pauze
  • 14.30 uur: vervolgprogramma met o.a.:
  • Sabine Schootemeijer (Phd candidate Radboudumc), ‘Walk to prevent: promoting physical activity in people with Parkinson’s disease.’
  • Pim Assendelft (Hoogleraar Preventie in de zorg, Radboudumc): ‘Lifestyle plus living environment for primary, secondary and tertiary prevention of disease’
  • Baukje van den Heuvel (Oncologisch chirurg, Radboudumc): ‘Improving physical fitness as a routine in surgical care’
  • Micha Holla (Orthopedisch chirurg, Radboudumc): ‘An ode to the human body- the miraculous self-healing capacities of our body’
  • 15.45 uur: actief Intermezzo met fysiotherapeut Wilfred van der Maas.
  • 16.00 uur: vervolgprogramma met o.a.:
  • Interview met bestuursvoorzitters Radboudumc en Radboud Universiteit en wethouder gemeente Nijmegen.
  • Hidde Bekhuis (Socioloog en Bewegingstechnoloog, Radboud Universiteit): ‘Do elite athletic events stimulate the population to exercise more?’
  • Bas Bloem: ‘Behind the white coat, lessons from my volleyball career’’
  • Afronding met Bas Bloem en Joop Alberda (Sportbestuurder en gouden Olympisch bondscoach Volleybal mannen 1996)
  • 17.15 uur: walking dinner
  • 18.15 uur: vertrek met bussen naar WK Volleybal Vrouwen 2022, in Gelredome Arnhem

      The Jump 2 Prevent programme will be hosted by the enthusiastic chair of the day Marloes Wesselink, former beach volleyball player.

      The Friday 23 September program is as follows:

      • 11:30 hrs: reception with lunch.
      • 12:30 hrs: opening program including:
        -Opening with Bas Bloem (Neurologist Radboudumc)
      • Bart Kiemeney (Epidemiologist, Radboudumc): ‘Lifestyle improvement: the forgotten cancer drug’.
      • Interview with 2 top athletes and sports physician Rob Vesters about returning after injury: ‘Return to play’.
      • Erik van Wensen (Neurologist, Gelre Ziekenhuizen): ‘Yips and other Task-Specific Dystonia’s in Athletes’.
      • Hans Zwerver (sports physician) about Jumping, health and the Jumper’s Knee: ‘Jumping 2 conclusions or not'.
      • 14:15 hrs: break
      • 14:30 hrs: afternoon program including:
      • Sabine Schootemeijer (Phd candidate Radboudmc) ‘Walk to prevent: promoting physical activity in people with Parkinson’s disease’.
      • Pim Asseldelft (Professor prevention in healthcare, Radboudmc): ‘Lifestyle plus living environment for primary, secondary and tertiary prevention of disease’.
      • Baukje van den Heuvel (Oncology surgeon, Radboudumc): ‘Improving physical fitness as a routine in surgical care’.
      • Micha Holla (Orthopaedic surgeon, Radboudumc): ‘An ode to the human body - the miraculous self-healing capacities of our body.
      • 15:45 hrs: active intermezzo with physiotherapist Wilfred van der Maas.
      • 16:00 hrs: continued afternoon programme including:
      • Interview with the Chair and President of the Executive Boards of Radboudumc and Radboud University respectively, as well as an alderman of the Municipality of Nijmegen.
      • Hidde Bekhuis (Sociologist and Kinetics Technologist, Radboud University): ‘Do elite athletic events stimulate the population to exercise more?’
      • Bas Bloem: ‘Behind the white coat, lessons from my volleyball career’.
      • Program Close with Bas Bloem and Joop Alberda (Sports director and gold-medal Olympic Men’s National Volleyball Team Manager 1996).
      • 17:15 hrs: walking dinner.
      • 18:15 hrs: departure by bus to the Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2022, in GelreDome Arnhem.
